"I had a great milk supply, and a great first couple months postpartum, especially compared to my friends!"
"There were no clouds of sadness like I had in my first birth."
So you're interested in placenta encapsulation but you aren't quite sold yet? You need perhaps some evidence? Or perhaps you just need to hear another family discuss how placenta encapsulation influenced their postpartum experiences, and how they have enjoyed my services? Well, you've come to the right place!
I decided to do placenta encapsulation with my second baby because, honestly, after my first I was kind of a hot mess. I was sad a lot, even though the birth went smoothly and my baby was healthy and happy, and I just generally felt like a huge downer. That continued for a couple months and I just didn't want to feel that way again after round 2. Thankfully, I stumbled on Kelly's site and got some great information about how this could ideally help me keep that sadness away, and nurture myself and my baby(ies) well after birth. Thank GOD! Kelly arrived just a couple hours after the birth and met my husband and got the placenta. She kept me updated to the process and her return time, and she was back with my pills and my salve about 24 hours later. Fast! I was beyond impressed with the results. There were no clouds of sadness like I had in my first birth. I had a ton of milk. I was satisfied and content and did not feel constantly weepy. I recommend Kelly to anyone even remotely thinking about placenta encapsulation. She was friendly and professional and did a heck of a job with her services. Do it! -Carina T
I was told from friends and family and my childbirth educator to expect to feel funky the first couple weeks after birth, that I was going to have the "baby blues" and it was just a part of birthing a baby. I decided to try placenta encapsulation after hearing about it on the radio (don't judge me, Kim Kardashian was talking about it...). Kelly was great in explaining the process and the benefits and really helped demystify the whole process. When I got my pills back I was in love with her packaging too! Not important, I know, but fun! Within a day or two I had a great milk supply, and a great first couple months postpartum, especially compared to my friends! They all are now on the placenta encapsulation bandwagon with me, and I always recommend Kelly to all of my girlfriends. If you are on the fence about it, I would say just go for it. It's better to have them and not need them then to wish you had them after the placenta is just thrown away anyway! A worthy investment in your healthy and happiness! -Jessica L
When I heard about people "eating placentas" I was so turned off that even the idea of encapsulating sounded nasty. I was really grossed out at the thought of it, but really interested in the benefits. Thankfully it wasn't gross at all, and my husband and my older children got to have their best from me! After my previous two births I was sort of a zombie and emotionally unstable, crying ALL the time and just struggling with a lot of things. This experience was the exact opposite and I am thankful we decided to go ahead with it. I tell all of my pregnant friends about it- telling them it's not gross at all, just like taking another vitamin or supplement, and that they will not regret it. Thanks, Kelly! -Layla F
I have struggled with anxiety all of my life and this was the first I felt normal in a LONG time! While it wasn't the cure-all, it was the best thing I did for myself and my family. It really helped ease those postpartum emotions and worries I had heard so much about, and my anxiety was nearly gone while taking my pills. I even went back to Kelly and got a tincture made out of a few of my pills to store for long term in case I needed it. Kelly was really friendly and made the whole process easy and not gross (something my husband was worried about), and came to us after the birth quickly and got the pills back quickly as well. I was really impressed all the way around. -Mia R
